Shop Supervisor - Shoreline

Eurosport Ltd., specialists and market leaders in sports retail, are looking to recruit a full-time Shop Supervisor to oversee the retail operations and sales team of their new Eurosport shop at Shoreline.

The basic function of the Shop Supervisor is to perform a wide array of tasks to ensure that the store runs smoothly, effectively, and efficiently on a daily basis, and to provide all the support necessary to team members in their personal and professional development.

The ideal candidate is outgoing and welcoming, leading with a smile and acting as the main point of contact between the company and our esteemed customers. It is imperative that applicants are smart, well-groomed, hardworking, and passionate about sports brands.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that the shop is professionally presented and that displays are visible throughout the retail area;
• Providing holistic support to the Team Leaders within the various sections of the shop;
• Ensuring that the various sections are fully stocked and that regular automatic transfers are being done;
• Visual merchandising throughout the shop;
• Monitoring of Sales Turnover;
• Leading by example and creating a positive working environment which motivates staff to perform;
• Coaching and mentoring shop staff, and participating in the recruitment and training processes of new team members;
• Compiling reports to management, as required.

Prospective candidates should:

• Be fluent in English or Maltese, or both;
• Have at least five (5) years’ experience in retail;
• Be passionate about leading others towards providing excellent customer service;
• Be confident working within a team;
• Be able to work flexible hours, based on the weekly roster.
