The Cloudboom Max has a modern midsole consisting of the ultra-soft Helion™ HyperFoam made from Pebax®. The high-performance foam provides good cushioning and a high level of energy return, so you can keep running at speed. The foam is combined with the unique CloudTec® technology. CloudTec® are the 'clouds' that absorb shocks both horizontally and vertically, making your landing extra soft. As soon as your feet have hit the ground, the Clouds stay firmly in place so you can continue with a powerful push-off. In addition, the midsole features the characteristic Speedboard®, a plastic plate that flexes while running and provides a responsive feel when pushing off.
The Swiss-Engineered mesh upper provides support in strategic places around the midfoot and has a high level of breathability in the forefoot. On uses recycled materials in the upper to reduce the impact on the environment.
