Marketing & Sport Events Specialist

We’re looking for a Marketing & Sport Events Specialist to join our growing team at Eurosport (Malta) - the go-to destination for top sport & fashion brands like Adidas, Reebok, Under Armour, Puma, Hoka, New Balance, Champion and many more. This role is part marketing & content whiz, part event ninja. You’ll manage marketing campaigns, social media channels & be the engine behind our activations at road races, fitness events, yoga sessions and everything in between. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Content Creation & Social Media Management

You're the voice of our brand - in captions, visuals, and reels.

• Create scroll-stopping content across Facebook, Instagram & TikTok
• Use Meta Business Suite to plan, schedule, and manage posts like a pro
• Stay ahead of the trends - memes, formats, audio? You’re already on it
• Keep our pages buzzing with energy, relevance and community engagement

Campaign & Strategy Execution

Got ideas? Great — now let’s turn them into campaigns that perform.

• Work closely with the Head of Marketing to align brand goals with digital strategy
• Plan and roll out marketing campaigns from start to finish - from brainstorm to reporting
• Set smart KPIs, track results, and constantly look for ways to up your game
• Use data to test, tweak and improve our marketing across platforms
• Keep an eye on what our competitors (and industry) are up to

Sport Events & Activations

From yoga mornings to marathon finish lines - you make the magic happen!

• Lead our brand’s presence in races, fitness events, wellness sessions & more
• Own the logistics, branding, coordination and on-site execution
• Collaborate with partners to deliver slick, memorable on-brand experiences
• Capture it all for social (because if it’s not on IG Stories, did it even happen?)

Sponsorship & Influencer Management

You’re the connection here - managing collabs that actually make sense.

• Work with athletes, influencers and sport clubs to deliver on-brand partnerships
• Coordinate content calendars and make sure everyone hits their deliverables
• Keep tabs on contract terms, campaign performance and ROI
• Source new talents and trendsetters that align with our vibe

Required Skills & Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in marketing or similar field
• Ideally at least 3+ years of experience in marketing, social media, or event coordination
• Fluent in Meta Business Suite (and friends with Canva, Adobe, or similar tools)
• Excellent communication & storytelling skills — visual + written
• Experience in organizing events and/or activations
• Highly organised, creative, and able to juggle multiple projects
• Passionate about sport, branding, and digital culture
• Energetic, fun to work with, driven by results & with ‘can do’ attitude
